Let’s take a closer look at the Premier Prismacolor Pencils – Ok so l am going to give you an honest review on these Coloured pencils. So after some research and also trying the Prismacolor Scholar line (and liking them), l decided to splurge and get a set of 150 Premier Prismacolor set, l picked Prismacolor Premier for several reasons.
I love being able to layer many colours and you don’t need to apply a lot of pressure when covering your piece making it easy to layer and blend. Too much pressure can make a waxy build up which you don’t want anyway. The colours are vibrant and if you are worried about light fastness, Prismacolor makes certain colors light fastness, some aren’t, so if you do some research, in fact l think there website might indicate which ones are and which ones are not.
In all seriousness these pencils are so soft and velvety that almost anyone can be successful with them.
Let me know what you think of them, l would love to hear from you.
I am hoping that l can be inspirational and informative. I always feel that paying it forward is a great way to live life. As a self taught artist l will try and share with you what l have learned.
