Path to the Shore: Watercolour Workshop
Path to the Shore
A Coastal Watercolour Workshop
Step away from the noise and onto a quiet coastal path filled with salt air and stillness. Path to the Shore captures that fleeting, peaceful moment when the dunes open and the vastness of the ocean is revealed.
Ever struggle to make your landscapes feel deep, atmospheric, and immersive? Join me for a hands-on coastal watercolour workshop for adults (18+) where we break this serene scene down step by step, making it approachable and enjoyable.
No drawing skills required.
This workshop is all about painting, not perfection. We’ll focus on shapes, light, and movement as you learn how to guide the viewer’s eye through a winding coastal path.
What You’ll Learn
- How to lead the viewer’s eye through a composition
- Wet-on-wet techniques for soft skies
- Atmospheric perspective to create depth and distance
- Negative painting for texture and detail
- Value contrast to bring light and focus to your scene
- How to transition from loose, watery washes to crisper foreground details
Whether you’re a beginner or an artist looking to refine your style, you’ll leave with a finished painting and a stronger understanding of how to paint light, depth, and mood in watercolour.
✨ All materials are included — just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore your flow.
