Season of Change A 3-Day Watercolour Workshop
Season of Change
A 3-Session Watercolour Workshop
Celebrate the rich beauty of autumn while taking your watercolour skills to the next level in this immersive three-session workshop. Together we'll create a stunning fall-themed painting featuring a charming watering can overflowing with autumn foliage, while exploring the techniques that bring luminous, expressive watercolours to life.
Designed for intermediate and advanced painters, this workshop focuses on building confidence through technique, helping you make thoughtful decisions that will elevate every future painting.
During this workshop you will learn:
- Negative painting, when, where, and why to use this powerful technique.
- How to create beautiful texture using a variety of watercolour techniques.
- Glazing techniques to achieve rich, glowing autumn hues.
- How warm and cool colours work together to create depth, mood, and harmony.
- How and when to soften hard edges for a more natural, painterly look.
- When to choose wet-on-wet versus wet-on-dry techniques for the best results.
With demonstrations, individual guidance, and plenty of painting time, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the "why" behind each technique, not just the "how."
This workshop is held in a small group setting, allowing for plenty of extra help, personalized feedback, and one-on-one guidance throughout each session. The intimate class size ensures you receive the support you need at your own pace while still enjoying a relaxed and encouraging group atmosphere.
All materials are included, including professional-grade watercolour paper, a selection of professional paints, and all supplies needed for the workshop. You'll also receive take-home reference notes to support your watercolour journey long after the workshop has ended.
Whether you're looking to refine your technique, add more depth and luminosity to your paintings, or simply enjoy three inspiring evenings of creativity, this workshop offers the perfect opportunity to grow your skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.
