Spend a beautiful, creative day immersed in the art of floral watercolour.
In this intimate, hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the delicate beauty of flower petasl through watercolour techniques, thoughtful layering, and luminous colour. With a small group setting, there will be plenty of time for personal guidance, demonstrations, and one-on-one support throughout the day.
Some previous watercolour experience is a plus, but you don’t need to be an expert. This workshop is designed to help you expand your skills, experiment with new techniques, and gain confidence in creating florals with depth, dimension, and personality.
What We’ll Explore
You’ll be guided through a variety of watercolour techniques while creating your own floral artwork, including:
- Building beautiful layers of transparent colour
- Creating depth, dimension, and luminosity
- Understanding how to control water and pigment for different effects
- Creating highlights and bringing areas of your painting to life
- Learning when and how to use gouache to add opaque highlights and accentuate your watercolour
- Discovering how gouache can complement, not overpower
- Learning how to make thoughtful choices about where to add highlights and finishing touches
We’ll take the time to explore not just how to use these techniques, but when to use them so that each mark has purpose and enhances the overall painting.

The studio is located in a loft space and is accessed by stairs, which may not be suitable for all participants.

Bookings are considered final, as each reservation allows me to thoughtfully prepare materials and create a welcoming, well-balanced group experience.
